Whip-poor-will decoy progress
Added 2024-10-16 20:08:04 +0000 UTCFor the past week I've been painting a Whip-poor-will! I am very happy with how it's turning out so far.
The process behind the scenes...
1. Draw profile silhouette of Whip-poor-will
2. "Inflate" silhouette in Illustrator
3. Get model 3D printed (at actual size!)
4. Create a silicone mold and cast in hydrostone
5. Begin painting
To do...
6. Finish painting sometime in the future!

Okay but I will only paint 99 because if I complete 100 I will explode into a cloud of moths
