Hello! Time for the first progress report of 2021. I'm glad we all made it. First things first, here's that pictures archive that I promised. It's the unique stuff that you could've seen in my progress reports over the year. Not all of it is great, some pictures are actually quite shitty, but some things are pretty enjoyable, I think.

Okay. Now to the important stuff. I'm gonna talk about the future of Shattered, my current plans and goals, and just explain certain aspects of different characters. We will start with Blake. You probably noticed that his progress is sort of uneven on different routes, and that's intentional. Blake's route should determine not only his (or her, as Blake feels more, and more like a woman with Vanessa or Suya, for example) love interests, but also the path he/she has to follow. Simply put, your Blake might stay the same personality-wise from this moment, and to the end of the game, but I will give you several possibilities to advance him/her much further. Bimbo route is the easiest choice, and there will be more chances to get on board with it, with certain paths making it even easier (Suya's bimbo route or Samuel's slut route for example). My goal is to make sure that at the moment of arrival to Deliverance Blake is going to have at least three very distinct personalities based on your choices. Quite ambitious, but not impossible, I think.

Now a quick rundown for our love routes. With Melinda, I think, our direction is relatively clear. On the true route she will start turning Blake into a lesser version of herself pretty much (but she will kick her down to the sissy route if Blake is a bimbo. By the way, leaving the bimbo route is impossible. You're stuck with it), and on the sissy route they will keep having fun in her dungeon. At some point Melinda might want to start showing her creation to the rest of the world. I'm imagining a scene where she presents Blake to her management board, and depending on the route Blake is either wearing a nice business suit or a latex mini-skirt with chastity cage visible from under it.

Samuel is also quite simple. He just keeps shaping Blake into a creature he wants to see, and eventually it will either lead to him getting bored of Blake or developing actual intimate feelings. Vanessa will work in similar fashion (except she won't get rid of Blake just because she wants something new): gentle femdom mommy on the sub route or affectionate wife on the true route, but the point is that Blake still have to change certain things about him/herself in order to make sure that Vanessa is happy.

Liam is difficult. We've had a story poll about his personality, and it ended up with a tie between completely opposite options. And I'm torn. On one hand it makes sense to make him more submissive, as his route is sort of a counterpart for Samuel's route, and it goes nicely with Dominique trying to turn him into a sissy, but on the other: he's the one wearing pants in his relationship with Blake. If he becomes a pushover, they will never gonna make it. I'm gonna think hard about that. Meanwhile, we haven't had a nice threesome with the boys, and someone else, so I'll see what I can do with that.

Iris will continue getting more, and more frustrated. On one hand she's tired of Vanessa, and the fact that Blake can't do anything about that. On the other some of her old wounds are opening again, as Mack's death didn't bring her closure she hoped for. She wants to come back to the slums. There's something there that lures her in. What is it gonna be? We'll see.

As for Bree, and Suya… let's keep some surprises. Their lives kinda reflect each other in certain ways. Both were pretty much shaped my various tragedies, they just tackle these problems in entirely different ways. There's still a lot of stuff to figure out, so expect some polls about these two.

Phew. So, these are love routes. Now for some other stuff. As of now we have four paths that interest me the most. Bimbo route, actress career, Kira+Kushari, and the anonymous admirer. All these things will get vastly expanded in the future, and my plans are pretty bold in this regard. Up until this point these routes mostly entertained Blake, but everything has its price. Bimbo Blake will keep getting dumber (and you can actually speed this up by doing stupid things like drinking Gillian's roofied cocktail at the party), and thus less controlling of her own actions. I'm not sure we'll get to the «brainless doll» type of character, but her inability to think more than one move ahead will bring troubles. At some point she might just go for a walk, and end up with cocks in her mouth, and ass. For no reason. Oops. Such a silly girl. Doing jobs for Tanya, hanging out with Claude or Troy, letting dr. Lowe get closer, and closer… all that will contribute to Blake's progress. Or regress, depending on how you look at it.

Now about the girl from the picture. Her name is Quinn, she's 18 years old, and she will eventually start working for Melinda as an assistant. Not in v0.11, and probably not in v0.12, but eventually. That's pretty much all we know about her. Oh, and her appearance isn't final, I might change it up later. Anyway, Quinn is going to be a rare character with no strings attached. Up until this point most of our folks were connected in some way. Quinn on the other hand might end up in Blake's «possession» at some point. But what is her personality? I don't know yet! We're going to have a story poll for that. Maybe she's a shy girl who loves romance novels. Or a bitchy brat who thinks that everyone around is stupid. Or Melinda's ass-kisser hoping to suck her way up to success. Point is, I wanna give her a reverse Blake's arc. Where Quinn eventually realises that being a man is actually much better. Or not. I think Blake should have a big role in all that. Even without the arc I want to bring Quinn on board, because I feel like there's not much to do at the villa now. There's doc, there's Eduardo, there's Melinda herself, but that's about it. Having a young girl to chat about random crap might make Blake's time there a little more fun. Don't you think?
