Weekly progress report #10
Added 2020-03-01 11:09:55 +0000 UTCHello! This is yet another progress report. I guess since I've just released the test version of v0.4 I have nothing to report really. Just the numbers: 50000 new words, 78 new renders, 9 backgrounds, 170 sprites and 5 new characters. Basic stuff.
So now the question is what are we going to have in v0.5. Well, I can't promise it right now, but I think this time we'll be able to get it much faster. After the ending that v0.4, it's only natural that the things are going to slow down a little, and Blake will have a chance to look around. Rebecca is traumatised, Samuel is in prison, Melinda tries to help him, and Liam is sorting things out at his new place. That, of course, doesn't mean that you won't get any scenes with them… but the horizons are as broad as never before. You'll see.
This new update will also introduce a new metric for Blake. I'm gonna call it «bimbo points». At this point you probably know what his sexual preferences are, now it's time to shape his personality. Some events will raise his «bimbometer», thus making him… well, someone else. This will open you many possibilities later on, but you'll be able to hold onto Blake's character if you like it so much. I do. And that's why you're gonna have a choice.
I'll talk about more specific details later on, but for now we need to figure one important thing out. So stay tuned for Blake's New Haircut poll tomorrow. I'll give you a new option in three different colours, and a chance to save the old one if you'd like. See you!
