Weekly progress report #7

You know what time is it. Oh, yes, yo do. It is time for our first progress report since the release of 0.3. This is the most important one, so I'll try to be wordy.

Since I've spent most of the week weeding out errors and mistakes in the public version (word of caution: if you're on a Vanessa's route and you haven't played the latest patched version that I released on 4th of February, you need to replay her date once more, because the old version didn't register her variable. I've mentioned it already, but it never hurts to give another warning), I've only started writing v0.4 on Wednesday. At this moment I have around 5k words in final draft and 15k more in first one. The renders are being made slower, just like always, but the first day of v0.4 (out of seven planned, though some things might change) is finished. Yay. All in all the cycle of development for this version shouldn't take longer than the previous one.

Now for the theme. As I already said many times, v0.5 will become a turning point for the entire story and many of its characters, so v0.4 should be a «calm before the storm» kind of an update. You're going to go through your chosen routes without any sorts of unsuspected trouble. Probably. This is gonna be most fun (and sex!) filled update yet, whether it's fun for both Blake and you, or just for you. If you're on Melinda's route, Blake is going to experience new levels of her authority over his body, Samuel will finally take what belongs to him, Liam will try to spice your relationships up, and Vanessa is still ignoring all of Blake's hints (or does she?). Just some nice and cozy stuff, I think you're gonna love it.

By the way, our straight Rebecca's poll is still ongoing and we have parity in answers! I can only choose one of them, so if you haven't voted yet, you really should. The gay poll is going to be published tomorrow, and it's gonna be a little different (let it be a surprise).  Rebecca's event should happen around the fifth or sixth day of v0.4, so don't worry, those polls aren't postponing anything.

Next week I'll start showing you teasers for the new version and also talk more about the general direction Shattered is taking. I think Blake is getting a little too relaxed in his situation. Big mistake.
