I also loved the “tell me what you want” line followed by the very brief “wait for it/you gotta earn it” denial - listener character and I shared the same desire and that was really well done. Like, if it's just your mouth and your hand, where is the water coming from (pun unintended haha)? How are you making the smoother/slicker sounds? Are you layering different tracks or do you record it "live," then edit? Do you add "wetness" to the SFX with something else? Again, I totally understand if this sounds creepy 😭 or if you don't want to share. I'm just very curious by nature and have an interest in erotic SFX. [SFX IMMERSION THREAT WARNING OVER] Yeah, I understand. Like I said in my original comment, and to Sarah, this is just my opinion. People have different preferences, and if you try to cater to them all, you'll end up catering to none. That's a good question. I think the tent audio is probably the best example off the top of my head. The way you narrate what you're doing, what the listener is doing, what position you're in, the layering of the SFX, and the overall pace were such an incredible combination in that audio. Taking a look at a specific scene [SPOILERS!!!], when the speaker switches positions to overstimulate the listener with their mouth, here's what made it really work for me: - The dialogue, "then I bet my f*cking mouth would be really hard to take right now, huh?" This foreshadows what's going to happen. - The SFX, going from that rhythm to just a bit slower for the dialogue, then the sleeping bag "whoosh" sounds. This adds a layer of immersion that doesn't require any direct verbal acknowledgement. - The "direction sentences" like, "come on, spread your f*cking thighs." This gives us insight into the listener's position. [NOTE: after writing this next part out, it's quite long, and not necessary for you to read. Nonetheless, I'm leaving it here in case you (or someone else reading) wants to further understand my personal take on this] To clarify, it's not that I lack imagination haha. It's more about the immersive experience. I, personally, find it really difficult to immerse myself into erotica that makes me guess/decide what's happening because if I wanted to do that, I'd just fantasize about something. Using the tent audio example, it's immersive because I don't have to do the fantasizing myself, beyond just visualising the scene in my head. I'm watching the speaker eat the listener out as a third party, I'm not "fantasizing" about a scenario where two people are engaging in a sexual act. I'm just watching/listening to a performance. Now, I know a lot of people fantasize, using the audio, and picture themselves as the listener. I rarely do that, as it's a lot more difficult for me. So, I don't speak for the majority. I'm consuming your art as erotica where the speaker and listener are just two unnamed characters that I'm "listening in" on. Hence my desire to know exactly what's happening. It's about the picture/movie in my mind's eye. In general, I don't like super long pauses where the listener is supposed to reply with something specific for the audio to make sense/for the plot. So when it happened more than a few times in this audio, I had a tough time enjoying it. I can't read your mind, there is no script that I can refer to, and it's not like I can ask someone what was supposed to be said. I feel frustrated, but, like I've said, that's **my** problem. I can share that I felt frustrated in a comment like this, but **I'm not entitled to anything, including you receiving my feedback or even reading it, let alone acting on it.** Like with the example I gave Sarah, I would never ask you to stop including spit play in your audios (or complain about it all, honestly), because I can always just skip it or ignore it. Unfortunately, with dialogue, I don't really have that option. If I skip a section, I lose out on necessary details. If I don't, I'm still missing out, albeit in a way that feels almost worse, because everyone else seems to just get it. It's frustrating, not because you're doing something wrong, but because I feel at a loss for what to do to fix the issue, even if it is solely my own. Now, for the rare occasions where I *have* consumed erotic audio and fantasized about the listener being me, *I still wanted the clarity.* Funnily enough, it was the tent audio where I did this haha (look, after 200+ listens, it was bound to happen 😭). I think my thought process when it comes to the mystery name and some openness when it comes to positioning/mechanics is similar, basically just leaving room for interpretation/imagination and the idea that things are happening that aren't being narrated. But I can totally see how it makes things less clear at times and could take you out of the moment! Just for my own comparison, is there an audio of mine that you feel like has a perfect amount of clarity for you? I'll defiinitely think about striking more of a balance when I next record and edit. I don't want to "ruin the magic" for anyone, so if anyone doesn't want to know what I do for oral sounds, avert your eyes NOW hahahah. I honestly don't mind sharing because it's so basic. Transitions from sub to dom in switchy audios are usually really awkward and weird but this was great, it flows really well and there are brief moments in the dom section that are still fairly switchy which feels more organic than most stuff out there. Also something I always appreciate about your work is that the SFX aren't goofy, loud, and/or overbearing. Like they're there and they're immersive but they're not like, the only thing I can hear lol. You bring attention to detail and a balanced, believable tone to a medium that very often ends up cartoonish from many other creators in this space. Nonetheless, I recognise that different people have different preferences! Like I said in my comment, this is just my personal opinion and whatever "issues" I had, might not actually be issues at all. Do you want to know something funny? For example, when you said to the listener, "keep calling me that," but never actually specify what it is you're being called, I found that to be really frustrating. Sometimes, the silences for the listener's part of the conversation were a bit long and drawn out, so that made it even more difficult for me to appreciate the dialogue (because the breaks between were so long). 2. A few times it wasn't clear what was happening, either because of the SFX or because you weren't narrating what you were doing. I realised after listening a couple more times that the "ocean sounds" were actually supposed to be clothes/sheets rustling. Now, this is all my PERSONAL OPINION. Maybe everyone else knew exactly what the listener was supposed to say and recognised what you were doing with pinpoint accuracy. This could all just be a "me" problem, and have nothing to do with you. I did really enjoy the audio, and I LOVED the scenario! The desperation when you were eating the listener's pussy was INCREDIBLE. I don't know if you remember the comment I left last time about pussy-eating SFX, but I do want to take a moment to say that this cunnilingus SFX was probably my favourite so far. Well well well, what do we have here? Another August character that makes me fucking melt?
