I just joined the $35 level as I got an email that said August would be the last month to get the coin. It says I won’t be charged til September 1. So with my first charge being in September will I actually get a chaos coin and the digital in game coin or am I too late?

My Patreon is set up as a monthly subscription to help support the various projects we're working on. You can pledge any amount from $1 to $1,000,000 and that amount will be charged one time each month around the start of each month (1st-5th of each month). Our current goal/reward is the Chaos Coin. It unlocks for all Patrons who are processed for a pledge at $35 or higher when we have 2000 or more Patrons. As I write this we have 1,273 Patrons. If it is your goal to "game the system" and get the Coin for as little as possible then I recommend the following: Set a pledge at $1 right now. That increases our Patron count and moves us closer to our 2000 Patron Goal. When you see us hit 2000 Patrons adjust your pledge to $35. After you've made that adjustment wait until the next payment is processed. Then adjust your pledge back to whatever level you're comfortable with. Once you're pledged at $1 you'll automatically receive Patron updates - and I'll be sure to send out a notice when we hit 2000 Patrons so that everyone knows to adjust their pledges accordingly. I know there are a lot of you out there waiting for 2000 before pledging. But I guess we could hit 2000 Patrons in short time if all the fence-sitters would pledge $1 right now.

Hi! I've been a fan ever since the first game. I'm a bit confused about the "how to get the coin" mechanics. My understanding is that I need to donate $35 when the project reach 2000 Patreons right? So I could donate 35 bucks when it hits or nearly hit 2000. I really wanna donate, really, but sadly I don't have that much money to keep up the monthly membership and I would love to have the coin. Material: Copper interior with nickel plating. You need to have pledged (and paid) $35 in the month where we reach the 2000 Patron goal. We don't know what month that will be - but we'll get there a lot faster if everyone interested would pledge a minimum now ($1~$5) and then wait until we reach 2000 Patrons. At the moment we hit 2000 change your pledge to $35. Once you've been processed for that month at that amount you can reduce your pledge (or keep it the same for 2 more months and get a free art print as well). Yes, we can deliver the coins everywhere in the world.

I read your post about the chaos of the coin, did not quite understand a couple of nuances, I would like to clarify them. What material are you going to make a coin from? It's metal. And it's heavy. We made coins like this for Pirate Jam. They measure 4.5cm across and weigh 28g/1oz. As to the specific metals, I believe it's copper on the inside with a nickel plating on the outside.

At this point, I mostly want to know what material you are thinking of using for the coin. Personally I would prefer some type of metal so the coin has a weight to it.

I think the heart is overwhelming the chaos symbol, and unless the queen of hearts plays a significant part of the game the coin could do without the heart, or maybe just have a shadow of it in the background or be a tiny heart in the middle. Looking forward to it!

Hi, I think you only have to be in the $35 tier during the month 2,000 patrons are reached.

Is there a minimum number of days or months we must have been patronising the project on the $35 tier to qualify for having somebody's name on a coin by the time 2,000 patrons are reached? My sister somehow loves the previous two games even more than I do and I want to try and get her a coin and her name in the game as a birthday present, but I can't afford the $35 tier for more than a month.

Right now it's far too early to know (both numbers of coins and coin collection/location method) and it would be purely guesswork.

For sure you'll be able to choose a name, as long as it's appropriate (not too rude or too long for example) But we would also have final say on what you chose.

I would have mine in a place that just happen to catch it in the corner of your eye and then once you notice it (meaning its in clear view) your like.. "Well s*** how the f*** am I going to get that one?" So that its just there taunting you. I would love that.

I love the costume idea. Not many games do this. It was really cool to see in AMR.

These are going the be a limited run. Every coin will represent a coin in the game with the same personal markings on them as the real coins. In other words I dont think there will be a buy afterwards option. That way it remains something special to those how helped out. Please help! Join the $35 tear today!

what would you guess how many coins there will be in the game? hundreds? are they to be found everywhere by the wayside (like the teeth in alice 2), or will every coin get its own tiny (possibly hidden?) spot in the game world? like the collectable memories or snouts in Alice 2?

BTW! I was the "super chat" person last night (GreyJedi) asking about this months art print! You said for us to comment on what we'd like next and I would LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE one of Omri Koresh's artworks that you displayed a few blogs back! Specifically the "Queen/Mask" illustration.

Now that I can see just how much dimension can go into these coins, I believe this original design (minus any lens flares) will be amazing! The heart and chaos symbols won't get lost as long as the coin is layered like the coin in the above example!

Will definitly move up from 15 to 35 for that and likely stay there for the poster art etc. Money should allow it once we get closer to the number of patrons required. Super excited can't wait for the goal to be reached!

I don't think the coins "need" to be collected in the game. It's if you want to collect them. For me, as a gamer, I LOVE to collect everything I can in a game because only then do I feel like I finished it. However, I also can't stand games that don't have enough content for me and have me completing the game 100% in 8 hours. I like my games to be 30+ hours of play time to get that 100% completeness.

These coins are an amazing idea, and the best reward I've ever seen for a Patreon goal. The whole idea of having a personal coin in the game is really cool, and it'll be an honor to be a small part of one of my favorite gaming series.

That seems like potentially a lot of in-game coins that need to be collected. I have no idea what the current percentages for each tier are, but if say 1/4 of the subscribers are at the $35 for that goal, you're looking at 500ish in-game coins. That seems excessive to me.

my fiancee told me that my coin should be a bitch to find because thats just fitting for me i obsess with collectibles and love when i find difficult ones lol

In your specific example. As long as you're at the $35 level during July's pledge collection, you would get the coin. So yes, you got it right. :)
