2023-01-05 21:27:46 +0000 UTCHmm, how about Jesse Faden from the Control game (voiced by and 3D modeled after Courtney Hope)? Or maybe the supporting character Emily Pope (voiced/modeled after Antonia Bernath), since Jesse is quite tough and capable in combat. Or both! Maybe there was a Hiss attack which Jesse fought off, but Emily was caught in the crossfire and couldn't get to safety as quickly as would have been appropriate -- Jesse and Emily were a good distance apart, a Hiss-infected trooper made its way between them but was much closer to Emily, and Jesse had no choice but to save her friend's life with a telekinetically thrown desk or filing cabinet. Unfortunately, this meant that Emily took a lot of the remaining impact, leaving her with some serious injuries. She could be stuck in something like a DSS and pair of LLCs, with Jesse in a LAC visiting her in the hospital, looking sheepish/apologetic about how that fight ended 😃
