This is actually a thing I'm going to cover in the next couple of videos - I mentioned this in the first vid, but Dall-E's policies keep getting worse, and it's starting to really affect the quality of the results they can yield - The policies are getting worse faster than the technology is improving, which is why I am pretty confident that Google Parti will surpass it when it's finally released. There is a somewhat reliable trick I've found to get good faces though, I'll cover it later, but if you use another AI called "Art Breeder" to get the face first, and then use Dall-E to outpaint the body, usually those images turn out much better - It's a temporary solution until Google waltzes in, but it's the best I've found so far :(

I can't get it to make usable faces in the first place and it blocks you uploading pictures, or at least photos to use as a starter which would be the obvious solution. I understand why that is (although nsfw content if blocked anyway so 🤷♂️), bit of a catch 22 scenario. What I find really puzzling is I tried using prompts that I saw in your videos that yielded good images and still got complete garbage.

2022-09-20 13:04:57 +0000 UTCYeah, always try and start with an image that has a good face if you can. It's much easier to generate the body and background, but generating the face is really hit-or-miss :(

2022-09-16 16:20:48 +0000 UTCOK that's a really big help. I'm getting mangled faces most of the time, I didn't think of just editing that bit out if I like the rest. I've just done a quick count and I've got 160 generated images so far and I've got 3-4 that are somewhat usable... it's not been going well!
