Anime Shader -

So, the Kings probably heard this yesterday, but last night I completed the Anime style UV-Map. Everything that wasn't working for us made sense after I got the map set up. The biggest advantage to laying out your UV-Map this way is there is ZERO pixilation. It doesn't matter how far you zoom in on the model, your detail and color is always perfectly clear -

I also now understand why and how the put specific detail in. Now that the Normals and map are complete, it's basically smooth sailing from here. I've been doing some extra research to see if there are any extra details I was missing, and I noticed they like to do "cross-hatches" on blank areas of the Character. So, I'll be spending the next few days adding those last minute details in. DEFINITELY adds a nice "cherry-on-top" feel and you can see some of the progress we got in the top pic -

Anyway, I've very excited to create the "Anime-Shader" tutorials series once we've completed the Unity series, and I think it will be very useful for those of you who are trying to do this style. Anyway, thought I'd share the good news with you guys :)
