That's seems interesting ! The ghoul makes me think to Ulfr with his dorsal pines. If it's Ranach behind I wonder how they can "pet" a ghoul

So does this mean we are going to explore the cause and solution to the Ghouls? I didn`t forget seeing Jhala scare off the one that went after Ronja there first night out, could this be a chekhov's gun?

It can't be Rohgir, his right ear was the one that got sliced off by the shield. I feel these could be ghoul Liulfr's. Or as someone else pointed out, a new species. Or even evil spirits conjured up by Ranach with his revenge plot.

I think it is a new non-ghoul species. Remember when Kique showed us a preview of a species native to that world? I think that is what we are seeing now - though obviously in a different position. They may be a more aggressive predator species that Ranach plans to lead to the tribe...

Not going to lie, but my first reaction was thinking how adorable it was. Whoops. I can't wait to see what happens!

That... kinda looks like a ghoul-version of Rohgir; note the cut ear, and Liulfr-like features (Akiulfr resemble Liulfr, obviously, especially Rohgir, Argeirr, and Jahla... for obvious reasons). But... what does this mean? Is it a nightmare, similar to the nightmares Rogio has been having? Was Rohgir touched by a ghoul, at some point, and now has nightmares about becoming one? Or are the similarities this ghoul shares with Rohgir completely coincidental? Can’t wait to find out. O.O
