Track Round-up November 2024

Only slightly delayed this time, here's the November tracks! There's some variety time, with a few simple tracks from Subnautica and Minecraft respectively. The crown jewel is the Dandadan track, a fresh off the shelves Kensuke Ushio cover from a new episode. I put a lot of work into getting that one ready in time, and to make it as accurate and emotional as possible. I'm very pleased with it! The cherry on top is a refreshing Sword Art Online View Post

Compilation Release: Piano Reflections Pack

I hope everyone is having a lovely fall so far! I'm just about to depart on my annual Japan trip. This month's tracks are going to be delayed because of that, I apologize for that. I didn't want to leave you empty handed however. I posted my new Piano Reflections album a few days ago, so I think this is the perfect opportunity to give you a compilation of the four of them. Normally older albums such as the one from A Silent Voice are only available on the...

Album Release: Oregairu - Piano Reflections

I'm proud to unveil my newest release for you guys! This is the fourth installment in my "Piano Reflections" series. These releases focus on calm and soothing slice of life anime and OSTs that are manageable to play and relaxing to listen to. In this instalment, I offer a short but refreshing look back at one of the most iconic slice of life series from the 2010s: Oregairu. Five of them are piano arrangements of the different opening and ending songs (four of which are from the OST), and one ...

Track round-up August 2024

Hey everyone! These two Your Name arrangements in particular gave me a lot of trouble, apologies for the delay. But I do have a juicy pack of arrangements for you this time around! There's the new Makeine and Oregairu arrangements that will offer you your dose of slice of life ballads, and a dual arrangement for Your Name's iconic Zenzenzense. Finally, the cherry on top is a remastered version of my older Vampire Killer arr...

The new piano arrived!

A sneak peak at the new piano that I've mentioned in the last two posts. It finally arrived this week!

This is a Yamaha NU1XA that I've been saving up for, after having the same old Yamaha P-115 for 10 years. It's not an acoustic model, nor is it an electric one. It's a hybrid! As you can see in one of the pictures I included, it has more or less all the mechanics of an acoustic inside. But the sound is electronically produced, via VST. This allows the player to experience the action an...

Track round-up July 2024

I hope everyone has had a great summer! I'm still waiting on my piano, so things have been suboptimal on the music front, to say the least. But I promise to make up for it with more exciting arrangements soon. If you read my previous post, you'll know that my summer has not been the best. But I'm getting back into the groove; we've finished moving and my health has improved a ton! For now, please enjoy these four new arrangements:

-The Frostlands (Octopath Traveler) - Easy/Intermedi...

Single Release: Pollyanna (I Believe In You)

I had the pleasure of being featured on the newest Pixel Mixers album! This time we did Earthbound, and I was allowed to handle perhaps the most iconic track of them all. Most people might know it from insaneintherain's jazz arrangement. Mine is not an incredibly complex arrangement, but the jumps are quite brutal. My goal was to match the upbeat pop feeling of the original, and I'm happy in terms of that! And I think the solo came out neatly. As usual the sheet music is included, hope you li...

Track round-up June 2024

Hi! I hope everyone has been well. I've been sick for a while now, and in addition to that, me and my wife had to move apartments because our landlord was selling. Needless to say, it's been extra hectic lately. But my health is improving and I'm finally settling into the new place (and office!). I'll probably share some photos of the office room once I get my new piano. That's right, yet another huge item on my list that's been taking up time haha, I'm finally upgrading from my old Yamaha P-...

Sheet Music Books Interest Poll

Hi! Don't get your hopes up, but I'm looking into making some limited edition sheet music books and/or physical albums of previous releases. It would be quite nifty! A prerequisite would be a fee to cover print and shipping, but ideally it'd be no more than $10-20 bucks.

Let me know what you'd be most interested in:

Album Release: Frieren - Piano Journeys

As promised, here is my Frieren album! Much like Violet Evergarden, this series is beautifully scored by and brought to life by Evan Call, who I've grown quite fond of. In this release you can find a variety of difficulty and moods, ranging from the challenging and violet Zoltraak, to the everyday sounding and intermediately challenging Time Flows Ever Onward, and to the calming and soothing Headpats and Praise. As usual I've put a lot of work into the arrangements ...

Track round-up April 2024

(Updated to v2 now , fixes on the Frieren sheets). Apologies for the delay for this one, normally I like to post it the first week of the month. I've been sick and busy trying to finish a Frieren release, more on that soon (as you can probably tell by the contents). Feeling better now and things are moving! Oh, and if you are looking for the recent Stardew tracks on my Youtube channel, they were posted in an earlier package (they're also included in my Stardew album post). Without further ado...

Track round-up March 2024

This month saw the release of my Komi Can't Communicate album, so be sure to check that out in the previous post if you haven't yet! Apart from that, I've been doing some seasonal anime OSTs such as Dark Aria from Solo Leveling and Zoltraak from Frieren. The difficulty level is quite high this month, but the aforementioned Komi album does have mostly slow/easy to learn tracks. Without further ado, here are the March tracks:

Album Release: Komi Can't Communicate - Piano Reflections

Notice: For those of you who are awaiting the newest sheets, the March package will come by the end of the week!

My second album for 2024 is "Komi Can't Communicate - Piano Reflections"! As you can probably tell, this is in the same series as my previous Silent Voice and Kaguya-sama EPs, a short and concise album that features six piano solos from the source material. As opposed to the Kaguya-sama album, this leans more heavily on the soundtrack as opp...

Album Release: Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - Piano Reflections

I'm closing off 2023 with this release, "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - Piano Reflections"! Under the same subtitle as my Silent Voice release from last year, this EP features six selected tracks from the series. I enjoyed the ending songs so much, so I've covered them in succession (ED1-4 are tracks 2-5 respectively). Most of the tracks are within the intermediate difficulty level, but I'd classify track two as the hardest one, and track six as the easiest.

Album Release: Emotional Anime on Piano Vol. 1-3 Bonus Tracks

EDIT: Because I couldn't get two of the tracks through licensing for streaming services, I've added them as bonus tracks instead! And to fill the holes, I've added two additional tracks, one from Violet Evergarden and one from Princess Mononoke. Enjoy the extra content ;)

Track round-up November 2023

Hi everyone! Not much time to write since it's late at night (and there's many projects going on at the moment), but I hope that you are all well and looking forward to the holiday season. I want to deliver two more albums before the end of the year and the Stardew one in January!

There was a huge demand for Violet Evergarden covers (and has been for years I suppose), so last month I did my first batch of new arrangements, to accommodate that. I also had the pleasure of doing a commis...

Album Release: Emotional Anime on Piano - Vol. 4

Here's the first of those three projects I mentioned! And in time, for once.

This weekend saw the release of the new entry in my "Emotional Anime on Piano" series. In the last three we visited a city, a forest and a battlefield. For the fourth one, I wanted to go with a school backdrop, as I wanted to feature a number of slice of life anime on it. That, and it fit with the idea of a yellow sky (the previous three were blue, green and red, so I wanted to do yellow next). Within the hall...

Single Release: Bubble - Uta's Song & Shikisai

New single! While many may consider "Bubble" not much more than an average movie, I'd argue strongly that the soundtrack is anything but. Hiroyuki Sawano rarely disappoints, and in this score he outdid himself yet again in my opinion. The incredibly beautiful melodies and motifs are spread throughout the soundtrack, creating one of his best in my opinion.

I created a piano medley based on the soundtrack last year (Included "UTAtoHIBIKI", "MERMAID" and a little bit of "HIBIKI"), an...
