(11/01/2020) Repeating Events

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a good and safe Halloween. I have some good news following my daunting post a few days ago. I happened to have a low-resolution backup of the graphics file that was corrupted, and although it's missing a lot of my more recent work, a large amount of it can be salvaged from this. Aside from that, in the actual project I managed to reconfigure the common event which controls all of the graphics shown for both the player and NPC, so now all of the new clothing can be used and shown in-game. I've also made a lot of progress on the repeating spanking events system.

I forget if I ever went over my plans for this, but since it was likely so long ago I'll just cover it again. A few NPCs in each town/major location will have the option of doing repeated spanking events with them. These are more similar to the kind of spankings I did in one of my earlier demos, where you could initiate one at any time. These spankings will be the more consensual and fun kind rather than punishing, but there will be punishment ones available later on as well. For these events, you'll have to complete some kind of prior condition to unlock the option to start them. for Ruby for example, spanking her as a punishment for spilling the drink on you opens the prompt to ask if she likes to be spanked and the ability to give her one. For these events, you'll have much greater flexibility in how you do them compared to normal story events. You'll be able to change implements and clothing layer on a whim, and even be able to control how severe the spanking is. 

These events take a bit more work than the story events to make, considering needing to consider a lot more options by the player, however I think having the option to experiment more with your implements and the spanking system is worth it. This also means that I have to limit how many people I can make such events for, otherwise it'd be too time consuming. Also, such repeatable events will also exist for when the player is the spankee, though I haven't started work on that system yet (but it's expected to be much more simple).
