(7/20/2020) Sprite and Image Progress 01

Hello again everyone.

I won't be updating every day like I used to, since I'm working my job on a regular basis and I can't guarantee anything worth mentioning every day.

However I do have something to show today, and that's some progress I've made with updating the sprites for icons and testing new artwork in the menu screens.

The top image shows the first graphic I made for the generic hairbrush item. I plan on there being several types of each implement in the game, such as a hardwood brush, a thin brush, a metal brush, etc. These types would all function in the same way for the most part, but would be used in special cases as well which I'll cover in a bit. I also plan on making graphics such as these for all of the consumable, key items, clothing, and underwear. Since that's a lot of art to do, I'm trying to balance time spent on each with the quality of the image.

The bottom image shows the current iconset image I'm working with. I've finished making new indicators for butt soreness for the player, along with some higher quality icons for the intensity of spankings. I'm still working on icons for identifying types of implements. Something that you only got a little bit of exposure to in the first version of the game is the implement requirements of some scenes. 

I plan on the possession and collection of implements being a larger part of the game in the future, where some options to spanking scenes will be restricted to certain kinds of implements for whatever reason. Some of you might remember in the first version of the game where you had to sell a belt to a mother and you'd unlock a spanking scene in exchange. I'd like to do special cases for characters where they'll only accept certain implements before starting a spanking scene. Some of these implements will be town-exclusive and it'll require you to go to a later or prior town to get the implement. Most of the time these will be sidequests you do for minor characters, but there could be main characters who will use this kind of format for spanking events too.
