Hello everyone,
こんにちは、皆さん。

As previously announced, I'm uploading Episode 4 of the FGO project.
This personal project ended up taking far more time than I had expected, so I wasn’t able to include Kiyohime this time.

I’ve actually completed around 50% of the Marie Antoinette part, but I decided it would be better to include it together with Kiyohime in Episode 5.

Due to a new image retouching method I tried this time, creating the 265-page set ended up taking more than a full day.
I even tried programming—something I’ve never learned before—in an attempt to automate the process, but I admit I failed and lost about another day.

Unless I properly study programming or find someone to outsource the automation, I’ll likely need to set this technique aside for now.

That said, I was able to experiment with other new techniques and I believe my overall skills have improved.
I understand some may feel uneasy about me working on personal projects while so many requests are still in the queue,
but I hope for your kind understanding, as this is a rare chance for me to try new ideas freely and develop my skills further.

以前ご案内した通り、FGOプロジェクトの第4話をアップロードいたします。
今回の個人プロジェクトは予想以上に時間がかかってしまい、残念ながら清姫を含めることはできませんでした。

また、マリー・アントワネットのパートも約50％ほど制作が進んでいましたが、清姫と一緒に第5話でまとめて登場させた方が良いと判断いたしました。

今回は新しい画像のリタッチ手法を導入したことで、265ページ分の制作に最低でも丸1日以上を費やすこととなりました。
その工程を自動化しようと、全く経験のなかったプログラミングにも挑戦してみましたが、うまくいかず、結果的に1日ほど費やしてしまいました。

プログラミングを本格的に学ぶか、外注できる方法を見つけない限り、この技術の活用はしばらく保留になるかと思います。

とはいえ、別の分野では新しい試みに挑戦することができましたし、以前よりもスキルアップできたと感じています。
リクエストが多数溜まっている中で個人プロジェクトを進めることに対して、不安に思われる方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、
今のこの時間こそが、私にとって自由に新しいことを試し、成長できる貴重な機会ですので、どうか寛大なお心でご理解いただけますと幸いです。
