I hadn't realized until now that I haven't done any reclining sets. I just got this bench though and I feel like it works great for it. Not all of these are reclining. I'm still a bit long. This was actually a really nice set. It came so easily. The lighting is of course some simple contrast. I'm getting more into it. I think the problem with simple lighting is that it doesn't always make for a good photo, but it does for good reference sets. The contrast emphasizes the outlines on the body that artists prefer, especially when they're newer. You can take a look like this and put it in a nicer setting or space. It looks better in a painting.
When it comes to photos it looks like a body on a bench on a set. Not that there wouldn't be a way to do it right to catch a good photo, but it wasn't my goal. It does take another frame of mind.
I'm not sure what you thought of my last set for February. It was the same light just about, but a whole set and character. Do you feel like you have a preference?
