Obviously, these are from last year. This is Page, AZ along the side of some road at sunset. The sunsets and sunrises are the most beautiful. I love the pinks and purples. It's so different from home which are various shades of greens and blues. During the brightest parts of the day the colors are blue and pale orange. It is a kind of look that seems a bit exhausted or muted. It's so different from bright days in green areas that have a neon tone to its colors. Underwater is also different. It ranges from pale blue to dark green. Do you have a favorite? Do you notice these things?

Everytime I think I have a favorite, I change my mind. I haven't been much of a black and white person in my editing, but I still love the look of a desaturated monotoned set as well. I have a lot to learn when it comes to taking a photo and editing. Sometimes there are tutorials on it and sometimes it takes experimenting to find how to make a photo look like it does in my head. Often I accept defeat for the day and try again later. Luckily the images last forever. I could edit them until I die. Sometimes the colors and idea finally come to me. It takes a while to feel the aesthetic and vibe for a set.

I took a break from Patreon because I felt like I was just taking photos so I'd have something to post, and when I looked at those photos I didn't have any feelings towards them. They felt like meaningless sets. Even the ones I felt inspired by in the moment. I needed time away to remember why I valued these moments and what inspired me about them. I hope you can understand and see what this view meant to me.
