Boobgirl in Challenge of The Demon God Chapter 1[story]

It was a very humid day in Mobious City which meant the mood was quite dour. Consequently, this meant that criminal activity was at its peak for the day as low level crimes like drug deals and alley robbery ran rampant. The higher level crimes were suspiciously quiet, which may have something to do with the fact that Mobious City was the home of the mightiest superheroine that ever lived. Her name was Super-Nova.

The young, red headed woman donned a blue mask with matching gauntlets and boots while she wore a long sleeved leotard that hugged her features nicely. Behind her mask glowed bright, light blue eyes. Her hair was long, so she tied it back in a loose fitting ponytail that she was capable of manipulating with her energy. Due to her large bust and the window on the chest of her suit, many of the citizens as well as her peers would refer to her as The Boobgirl; a nickname she loathed entirely.

She was feared among the criminal community due to her insane speed. She was once able to clean up an entire city block in less than 3 minutes. Another reason to fear her was her seeming invincibility to any Earthly weapons. Bullets bounced off her, landing a punch on her meant a broken hand, and she had the ability to become blindingly bright by channeling her supernova energy.

The fear was so strong that the moment she appeared in the flesh, high above the city, most of the criminal activity stopped as they fled the scene, hoping they were unnoticed. Unfortunately for them, she noticed and made quick work of them all. In a scene that looked as if it were from the pages of a comic, she stood alone while a handful of criminals were piled on top of one another. The MCPD showed up and took over from there, thanking Super-Nova for her assistance.

“It’s no problem, guys. I’m happy ta take care of these savages ruinin’ my city.” With that, she bid them farewell and took to the skies.

Almost immediately, she was trending on social media and various news outlets were covering her massive takedown of street crime. Now that she had become a fixture in Mobious City, many of the higher level threats like alien invasions or giant monsters became a thing of the past. Nearly everybody that encountered her, walked away fearing her. It made for a boring life for Super-Nova, but she didn’t care too much.

While the heroine patrolled the city, a high level threat lurked outside the city limits; inhabiting the deserted area between Mobious City and Hell City. He wasn’t a threat in the traditional sense as he had no interest in riches, fame, or recognition. His goal was conquest and subjugation. However, his interest was fair subjugation. He wasn’t the kind to simply arrive and strongarm his will; he would instead challenge the mightiest heroes he knew of to a bout to the death. He stood alone against a duo who called themselves Nickel and Dime.

“I don’t wish to cause either of you any pain. I simply want to measure my strength against the 2 of you and should I win, it means the end for you” declared the blue, dreaded figure.

Nickel, a woman in her late 20s, stood beside her hero husband, Dime, as she answered, “Just so we’re clear, end means death yeah?”

The figure nodded as he prepared himself for battle. His physique was unmatched; muscles on muscles. His skin was a deep blue as his eyes glowed a faint yellow as his dark blue dreads decorated his shoulders. His fists clenched as he saw Nickel start moving away from Dime. As if anticipating the attack, the blue figure dodged a sudden assault by Dime and quickly dispatched of him with a single blow to his head. As Dime was sent crashing to the ground, the figure turned his attention toward Nickel.

“The man lacks the proper skills to stand toe to toe with a Demon God, I’m afraid. Will you fare better?” he taunted her.

She was uneasy seeing her husband fall so quickly, but she decided to use her abilities in the hopes that it would save her. She ran towards the man and quickly slid through his legs. As she slid, she timed her ability perfectly and turned her skin into metal, ready to attack. As she flipped to kick him, he gripped her metallic leg and bent it with ease as she howled in agony.

“Unfortunately, you also lack the proper skill,” he said as he gently laid her on her back, tending to her wound.

As she yelped in pain, he apologized to her for what he’d just done. “I am truly sorry for this, young one. I’m not fond of exterminating youth with such potential, but my law is my law.”

She felt him pull her leg back to the way it was, easing her pain as her skin reverted to it’s normal state.

“Y-you..  That..” she was incapable of forming words and started to rise before he placed his hand on her head, gently pushing her back to the ground as he stood above her.

“I promise you’ll go quick and painless, Nickel. As will Dime.”

The horror in her eyes spoke to him and he quickly felt a tinge of guilt wash over him, forcing him to look away.

“J-just let us g-go.. Pl-lease..” she begged him as she laid there, still feeling the pain despite her leg no longer bending the opposite way.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that, Nickel. It would go against my code as a Demon God. Normally, I’d take your soul, but I only accept souls that can bear the torture of servitude under me. You aren’t strong enough to handle it, so your light is extinguished here. Consider this mercy my gift to you and your beloved.”

He turned to face her again and held out his hand to her. As a defense mechanism, she hardened her skin into metal again, but it was no use against his power. He blasted her with his energy, completely demolishing her body, leaving behind fragments of metal. Once he dealt with her, his attention turned to Dime. As he approached the body, he realized he had hit him far too hard, cracking his skull open. He placed his hand over the wound and bowed his head.

“I am truly sorry. I hope you go to a better place where you’ll be free from what this place will become.”

The Demon God rose to his feet and wiped the excess blood across his chest. He left the remains of the two heroes alone to decompose. On his way to a makeshift shed he built himself, he grabbed a few cacti and a scorpion to feast. Before his meal, he paid respects to both Nickel and Dime. Despite viewing them as weaklings, he respected their spirit in accepting his challenge. He wasn’t sure where his next challenge would come from, but he’d hoped they’d put up a better fight than the two he just dispatched.

A full day later back in Mobious, Super-Nova was getting interviewed by a local news station.

“Thank you for taking the time to speak with us Ms. Boobgirl.”

“Uhh, that’s Super-Nova. SUPER. NOVA.” she emphasized, showing clear irritation at the name.

“Sorry, Ms. Super-Nova. Could you give us your thoughts on the recent disappearance of Mobious City’s own Nickel and Dime?”

“Not really, we don’t really talk much, but I’m sure they’re fine.”

“Are you on good terms with the heroic couple?”

“We’re on neutral terms. After that whole thing that went down last year with us 3, it took a long time to heal and move on, but we’re all adults. Time healed that wound.”

“So the affair that Dime had with you has nothing to do with their recent disappearance?”

Super-Nova clearly was aggravated by the question, but kept her cool and didn’t explode, “No. No it didn’t.”

“Are you aware that there are some people blaming you on their disappearance?”

“Yeah, I heard some stuff like that, but I’m tellin’ ya I didn’t do jack to either one of ‘em and I’m done with this interview.” she said as she smacked the interviewer’s microphone away from her face, looking at the news van to see it was a gossip news station trying to stir up drama. Without saying anything, she scoffed and took to the sky as the crew scrambled to spin the story.

As she flew around, she saw several fans of hers throughout the city, dressed in t-shirts with her face and symbol on them. She even saw other young women dressed up like her, cheering her on, praising and thanking her for all she does. She landed to grab a hot dog near a stand to relax.

I can’t stand these assholes and their negative press. I mean, fuck! That wasn’t even an ‘affair!’ You’d think those morons woulda listened to Nickel when she said she and Dime were poly!

She sat down with a hot dog and a drink and was approached by a few fans for an autograph and a selfie. As she was spending time with her fans, her sidekick, Angelo, showed his face.

Angelo was a young man that was a huge fan of Super-Nova’s and begged to be her disciple and learn the ways of the superhero from her. After many refusals, Angelo saved her one night while her guard was down against a high level threat that attacked Mobious. After that, she agreed to train him as her sidekick.

What she hadn’t learned about him until halfway through training was that he was a demon boy. He possessed supernatural strength that he had yet to tap into. Despite having that kind of power, he didn’t look it. Unfortunately for him, he had a very lithe frame, often being mistaken for a woman despite his deep voice, height, and other masculine traits. Because of this, criminals often underestimated him.

As he walked up to his mentor in his bright yellow and red bodysuit, he took a few photos with fans too; though not as many as Super-Nova. Once the crowd dispersed, Angelo sat next to her as she snacked.

“Master Nova, I cleaned up the upper sector of Mobious.” he said with enthusiasm.

“That’s great! I’m proud of ya, Angelo! You’ll earn your symbol yet! Also, ya don’t need ta call me Master. You ain’t a slave.”

“I know, but I consider it a term of respect. I hope I can make you proud.”

“Hot dog?” she offered to buy him one as she pointed at the stand. He nodded and they both enjoyed a hot dog together before getting back to their heroics. Super-Nova patrolled the lower sector while Angelo patrolled the upper. He desperately wanted to join her, but she specifically had him take the upper sector of Mobious since a lot of low level crime happened there. She didn’t want him getting hurt as she developed a special bond towards him despite only being 2 years older.

As he patrolled, however, he noticed a gleam in the distance. He ignored it as it didn’t seem that important to him, but soon he felt drawn to the gleam. His demonic blood began to boil and so he abandoned his patrol to head towards the area where he saw the gleam of blue light. Once he arrived at the area, he was greeted with an empty desert. Giving the area a second look, he came across the remains of Nickel and Dime to his horror.

He reached into his suit to grab his phone, but immediately dropped it in the sand. Desperately clawing at it to find his phone, he hadn’t noticed that the Demon God slowly approached him.

“Hello little one.”

Angelo heard the voice and quickly turned around, rising to his feet as he looked at the man.

“Are you lost?”

Angelo backed away, almost tripping over himself, “Who are you?!”

“Answering my question with a question..  Very well, since you’re only a child, I’ll give you an answer. My name is Azul, but you will address me as Demon God Azul.”

“D-demon God?!” Angelo processed this as he fought to stay on his feet.

“Mhm, now please answer me: are you lost?”

“I..uh..  No, I’m not.. I just saw-”

“The remains of the valiant warriors known as Nickel and Dime. It wasn’t a very long duel, but it was a duel nonetheless.”

“You killed them?!”

“No, I merely challenged them, they rose to that challenge, and lost.”

Every instinct Angelo had told him to run away and tell Super-Nova about this guy, but he fought those instincts. He composed himself and let out a deep sigh.

“People are looking for them. They’re blaming my mentor that they’re gone.” he informed Azul.

“That’s unfortunate, but it’s none of my concern. I can tell you’re not worthy of a challenge, so please leave now. I spare your life, child.”

The tone Azul used towards Angelo infuriated him beyond belief. His fists clenched in his dark red gloves and his muscles tensed, slightly stretching the material of his yellow supersuit.

“My name is Angelo! I’m 18 years old! And I’m challenging you, Demon God!”

Azul turned his attention back to Angelo, seeing him in a readied battle pose. Something about the fire in his eyes piqued Azul’s curiosity.

“You have your whole life ahead of you, little one. Why throw away your future by challenging me knowing you haven’t a chance?”

Gritting his teeth, Angelo put his fists up as his body began to tremble and glowed with yellow light, “I will beat you and when I do, I’ll take you in for the murder of Nickel and Dime! I’ll earn my symbol!”

The Demon God saw his determination and opted to accept his challenge. “Alright, little one, I accept the challenge. Understand that you’ve damned yourself to a hellish fate.”

Azul readied himself, awaiting Angelo’s first attack. To his surprise, Angelo didn’t rush him as Dime had; instead, he slipped by faster than anybody Azul had faced up to that point and managed to land a blow on Azul’s strong chest. In retaliation, Azul grabbed the boy’s hand and went for a crushing blow to his skull. In his mind, the fist made impact with Angelo’s head, but in reality, he swung at the air while Angelo struck him hard on the back of his neck, rattling the Demon God’s spine.

In a fit of rage, Azul swung an elbow behind him, hitting nothing but air while Angelo wrapped his legs around the God’s square head and flipped his body, making the blue back crash against the rough sand. Slowly, he came to his feet, looking back at Angelo.

“I clearly underestimated you, Angelo. I will not make that same mistake twice.” uttered Azul in a calm tone as he recuperated and readied himself for the next round.

Angelo held his own against the Demon God well enough as they traded barrages of punches and kicks, creating a small crater in the sand. As the battle raged on, Angelo showed obvious signs of fatigue as his yellow glow dissipated. His underdeveloped demonic powers failing him, he took several hits from Azul, sending his body flying into the sand. The 2nd round was Azul’s.

As the 3rd round began, Angelo emerged from the sand, his eye bloodied and his suit tattered. He had spit up copious amounts of blood as evidenced by the trail dripping down his chin. Despite being weakened, Angelo stood resilient, showing no fear to the Demon God. This time, Azul charged at Angelo, giving the young man ample time to dodge the hit, but when he went for a counter attack, the hit didn’t phase him. Azul relaxed his stance and turned to face Angelo, who continued throwing weak punch after weak punch on the blue demon’s chest.

“This battle is over, Angelo. I’ve won.”

Refusing to admit defeat, he kept throwing punch after punch as he coughed up blood, splattering it on Azul’s chest. The sight of the young man not saying die even in defeat made Azul smile tenderly at him. Soon, Angelo’s legs gave out and his cheek pressed against Azul’s bloody chest. The God tucked his finger underneath his chin and helped him stand upright. His large hand then rested on Angelo’s head, supporting him as a father would.

“Your Master would be proud. You’ve earned your symbol in my book, Angelo.”

After declaring this, Azul hit him hard in the gut with a punch so powerful, it shattered his spine. Barely conscious, Angelo’s knees gave out, but Azul stopped him from falling and gently helped him rest on his knees while he did the same, keeping his hand on the young man’s head.

“Respect isn’t something I give easily, but you’ve earned it.”

As the Demon God spoke, he took Angelo’s blood from his own chest and drew an A on his chest.

“When you die, your soul will be added to my collection and when the time is right, you will serve under me.”

Angelo looked at Azul with the last of his strength and spit blood on his face before falling back into the sand, dying with that last defiant act. With a smile, Azul wiped away the blood, proud of the warrior he’d just fought.

“It’s a shame Nickel and Dime weren’t as strong as you are. I wish I’d have gotten your Master’s name before killing you. Would love to challenge him.”

As Demon God Azul walked away from Angelo’s corpse, his phone was pointed right at him. While Angelo was trapped in the sand, he found his phone and began livestreaming the end of their battle to his social media page as thousands of watchers witnessed Angelo’s defiant last stand. Immediately, Demon God Azul’s face was plastered all over social media while Angelo’s fans mourned him. The only question on everybody’s mind was where Super-Nova was and when she’d kick the Demon God’s ass.
