Spiral Clicker 0.02 Live Updates
Added 2018-09-15 07:30:09 +0000 UTCTechnically the live updates began as soon as the last version was finished, but I figure it would be a good idea to make a new post about it so it's easy to find.
I spent all day today rescaling the game to 480x720 so that it fits entirely on the typical computer screen without the bottom being cropped off. And I do mean all day; I woke up about 7 yesterday morning, and aside from eating lunch and dinner I have done nothing but work on resizing everything. (it is now 2:30am my time). Hopefully I got everything, but if anything is still not scaled properly, let me know and I will fix it after I wake up. xD

It is intentional for her to switch to pre-set outfits. I am making the change to do that so scenes which take place, chronologically, before deeper control is acquired or which mention the clothes she is wearing at the time match with the outfit she would be wearing casually at that level of control. I have a fix uploaded now for her scenes not progressing properly.

2018-10-17 16:07:53 +0000 UTCNotes on the most recent Spiral Clicker update involving Erika: 1) The dialogue defaults to pre-set costumes rather than carrying over what she's currently wearing as dictated by the player. Not sure if intentional or a design oversight 2) Her speech about Cassie finding her continues to loop - that is, the dialogue ends, but the next speech bubble is always that one conversation. I guess the flag for having seen that scene hasn't been triggered?

2018-10-17 13:37:50 +0000 UTCI am definately planning to write a lot more dialogue, as well as scenes to go with each cg. Its a bit lacking at the moment as its still new but i am hoping to flesh out the characters more soon.

Now, it could be that I haven't unlocked said dialogue yet- I'm at level three hundred with all existing characters at the moment, with no telling how much further I have to go- but as of right now that's my biggest problem. Also, if there was a way to track the likes and dislikes of the girls so you could monitor their fall, that would be a great addition in the future as well.

2018-10-09 22:21:41 +0000 UTCMost of my issues were assuaged by your response to BronzeNeptune, but my concern is that for the most part the conversations don't feel finished, if you catch my drift. Like, these characters seem to be slowly and increasingly more entranced... but then there's no dialogue that I've encountered yet that really says that they've succumbed to your wiles. Nothing that says "You have entranced me, master," aside from Erika, and that's at least partially a joke on how easily entranced she is.

2018-09-17 12:20:33 +0000 UTCThank you for the resize! I was zooming out in my browser mostly, and it's nice to not have to be able to do that. Probably what I'm most looking forward to with this game are the conversations with the different characters, and the stories that follow from those. I like how each seems to correspond to a CG. Would it be possible to add a feature to the game to re-watch previously unlocked conversations?

2018-09-17 02:03:18 +0000 UTCSorry about that. I forgot to change the size of the embed wrapper. I just edited it so the white space should be gone now. While i know that the size wasnt an issue for everyone, and work arounds existed, it was a very common complaint I got on the first version. So it seems like changing the resolution would be better in the long run than explaining to everyone how to fix the cropping problem every time it came up.

2018-09-15 12:11:16 +0000 UTCwhile the changes in size are okish I find that the new size leaves a giant white square that sizes up to the old size beside i, which is somewhat distracting, also the old size problem wasn't really an issue if you zoomed out 10% so the zoom was at 90% rather than 100%, at least not on a 1920X1080 resolution
