Added 2022-06-24 21:33:03 +0000 UTCMan, I really can't overstate how much I've agonized over Calbain's design, especially his hair-- trying to fit a "culturally omnipresent and enigmatic creature of yore"-shaped-peg into an "anime character"-shaped hole, without having the end result look like Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons. A lot of character design choices about trying to make the character look thematically appropriate clashing with what intuitively looks good. I think I've mostly got it figured out, now, although as you can tell, even on this page I'm still getting a sense for how everything should fit. I could talk for a long ass time about the design decisions, but I'll spare you.

Just have him do more of those "pops in unannounced with an intense stare" and you'll be fine.
