One symbolism I got even though I don't know anything about hinduism is this cool one: At the start of the first movie, baahu carries the big stone effigy of shiva, called a "shiva lingam" under the waterfall for his mother. Here, at 45:25 he basically turns this stone into a shiva lingam, but instead of a waterfall it's his own blood :) This could also be a parallel to his father who offered his own blood to the statue of Parvati/Durga (who is consort to Shiva) instead of the blood of an innocent animal...
