I played persona 5 but it was so long ago, it's hard to remember how the powers worked... I might be completely wrong but wasn't it like: they don't even HAVE powers unless they enter like that shadowy world and it also happens every day that there's a 25th hour of those shadows. I always felt like Personas are just the weaker imitation of the real monsters of shin megami tensei. I didn't even expect persona powers to work on giorno like that. My expectation was: without GER, giorno wins like 7/10 times, with GER it's no contest. REALLY surprised joker won
