Hi !

Recently I started a real company for this youtube channel. That also means I had to make a business account on google adsense (the payment service of youtube) instead of an individual account.

Now I will have to link the new google adsense account to my youtube channel to get the payments go to there. The problem is youtube has to review this new account and during this review I'm basically not monetized. So all money from adds in that timeframe (because ofcourse youtube is going to keep playing adds on my videos) goes to youtube and not to me. From what I've read this review can take days (hopefully) or even weeks (hopefully not).

I'm going to wait linking this new account after I get paid for last month (around 22-23 August) so the to be paid balance on my old account is 0.

I don't want to post the video I'm working on right now in the period I'm not monetized so it could take a while for next video to go live.

HOWEVER, ofcourse I can already post it here as an early access for paying patrons whenever it is finished. For the free patrons, please don't see this as a post to make you subscribe for a paying tier. This is just a post to inform you of why next video might take a little bit longer. It is not because I'm being lazy it is just youtube/google that makes it way too hard to switch to a business account 😅
