February 2022 Compilation [Download]

I mostly played with character designs resulting in these two pink and green girls. I'm not even sure what they are, in my mind they are kind of alien girls? [at least the pink one!] haha; I wanted to make two more but I'm not as happy with their designs, the blue haired one is getting there but I think I'll have to play a bit more with the design.
Besides those I started the month with little adjustments for 2 of the fantrolls from January.

And then here's yet another beach themed sketch. This one is a color note! I'm not sure how to explain my goal here, but I had in mind a look that felt comfortable, warm and a bit... vintage? A scene without much light contrast, darker and also more uniformly saturated in general? [I could've pushed the saturation a bit more..]

Oohh <33 I had not thought of it like that! hahaha, I love the comparison with fighting games, it's so true! haha I made the variations to make color experiments, and see if they inspired ideas for new characters with similar amount of colors in their designs. It's something I often do and I'm sad that comparison never occurred to mee, now I'll have fun thinking about it whenever I make this kind of experiment in the future! [hahha~ I just thought it was a really nice idea for a pose~~ Mayyybe it could late be used in a little gif/animation!]

Great combos though, I think they all kind of had their own vibe. Also, I can't tell exactly what's happening in 02-24a5e, but I hope they're having a good time. >:]
