Princess Alea was nervous, today was her wedding day. Alea agreed to be married to a human prince to end the war between elves and humans, the same war that cost Alea her arms and legs in a fight with a human knight named Baldor.

Alea commanded her caretaker to set her in her chair as handmaidens tended to her and applied makeup to her face, she barely noticed them. When the wedding is complete Alea and her new husband will become the king and queen of their combined kingdoms as a means to create a lasting peace. The handmaidens finished primping her, they lifted her to carry her to the great hall, Alea hated being carried in this manner but she’s had no choice since her injuries, she could move her wheelchair with magic but a wedding was too formal to do that. As the doors opened Alea saw her groom, a handsome young human with light brown hair, but next to him in the “best man” position was Baldor.

“What is he doing here” Alea whispered to her closest handmaid annoyed.

“I’m sorry to say, He is the grooms older brother” the maid whispered back.

Alea did everything to not let her fear show on her face as she was sat on a throne next to her standing groom and the ceremony began. Alea knew what the minister was saying but wasn’t listening as she looks to the crowd many citizens in attendance were crying “do they know?” Alea thought until she saw pictures of Elven soldiers in the hands of their widows and folded tabards resting on the laps of some human women... “they don’t cry for my suffering but for the loved ones lost to this war” Alea, overwhelmed wanted to run from the wedding except for two reasons, if she did the war begins again, and what legs could she run with? Alea looks to her groom and sees the same thoughts on his face “perhaps he is just as nervous as I” she thinks.

The minister pronounced them married and the crowns were placed on their heads making them the most powerful people in the kingdoms but Alea couldn’t stop from feeling helpless...

Hi everyone, I have risen from the dead! I'm terribly sorry for my long absence, once again. I hope you're all doing well. I was alive and lurking this whole time, just silent and ashamed to post anything because i didnt make much progress on my WIPs. I don't know how or where to start, i've failed so many of you way too many times before but you're still here supporting me.

My hiatus this time was simply due to my stagnation in life, pretty much! I recall some time ago, posting about my difficulty in moving forward, and how my job is the only thing that gives me a sense of structure, really. Without it i'd fall apart and rot away, even old hobbies can't save me. I have not progressed very far, but at least i know I'm not moving backwards, but am still very slow, nonetheless. I've tried to keep drawing whenever i can. In my commitment to finish what i started, this piece really got me stuck, and i feel relieved to have finished it somehow. 2 friggin years, almost! I hope you can accept this as another new start.

And now a sea of WIP lay before me, some i almost finished and others not quite there yet, so ill post the sketches and WIPs here in the mean time in the days to come while i focus on finishing those that are almost done. Im truly sorry for making you all wait for a very long time, and I apologize for not delivering on my tier rewards.

That is not fair to you guys and i'll try to give proper updates at least, from here henceforth. There is much to say but ill try to keep this post short and give more updates on the next posts.

I'll be sharing some old Patreon works on deviant art in the coming days as i continue to catch up with my WIPs, that way our folks over there can have something to enjoy as well. I will do my best to create newer content here while taking care of the old WIPs somehow.
