First playblast for the new animation, for those curious what it's going to be! This was originally based on a Patron's idea, which has been altered a bit to allow for a little more interaction! It might be hard to make out from this clip since there's no effects or lighting, but the prey is actually captured in a glass! There's once again going to be a decent bit of voice over in this one, so far the most I've planned for an animation, here's hoping it's going to make Zoe as alive as ever for you~
The animation is still in a super early state, but I'll keep posting tests throughout the upcoming weeks to show its progress! Right now I'm still facing a few technical issues that are mostly related to properly rendering the glass with refractions. As I'm using a rasterized renderer, refractions are based on what's visible within the screen space, and with the object covering most of it, you'd often get a lot of artifacts. Guess this is where raytracing would come in handy, ha!
