And the funny thing is that I never felt that when I was young. I grew up in Bremerhaven, and while we used to spend a day or two a year at the actual, more natural seaside a couple of miles away, the sea for me was huge container ships, the stink of oil and decaying seaweed (or fish). I only came to appreciate it when I moved away.

2015-07-29 10:15:28 +0000 UTCLooks lovely :) The sea can be so inspiring for things Tolkien, right? So many things the sea plays a part in. I found that out too during a trip to the sea with relatives last year. I could so understand why so many Elves loved the sea at that time lol
