Hey guys! This week I did moar writing. Last week I reported that the code was about 13% as big as the last update; this week it’s up to 29% of the size.
Female Agent is basically built around its sex (& nude) scenes, but I believe that these scenes are made hotter and more interesting by the setup scenes between them. (For example: the Max sex scene would be much less hot if it didn’t have the dinner date scene first.)
This week I’d planned to write the main sex scene for 1.14. But after I started, I realised that I needed an extra setup scene first. So I worked on that, and ended up creating a little action scene that I hope you’ll like!
While the scene itself is supposed to be fun, it’s really just there to set up and accentuate the main sex scene. I’ll be resuming work on that tomorrow, and I’m really excited about it.
I’ve already plotted it out and pictured it in my head, so I know roughly how it’s going to play out, but I always really enjoy the process of transforming a scene from an idea into actual description and dialogue. It feels like that makes it real, somehow (even though the characters and scenarios only exist in our minds, of course).
R&R
Since I started work on the game, I’ve only rarely taken weekends off. I don’t feel burned out at all (I love working on the game), but I feel like it’s unwise and probably counterproductive. As an experiment I’ve taken the last three weekends off.
Honestly, the effect hasn’t been as good as I’d hoped. I think it’s just hard to switch off when you’re not used to it. So even though I have taken some time off at the weekends, it didn’t feel like I was resting. This weekend felt a little better – maybe I just need to keep at it. My hope is that I’ll be a lot fresher and more creative when I get some work/life balance restored, but I don’t think it’s working yet. :-(
