[05/08/2022] Added chinese translation by Mieli
Note: You need to download the main package plus the translation package!
My very first craftable object, yey!
[19/03/2022] Fixed error that was throwing last exception when using the dispencer. Also added two versions one that supports SoL and one for users who don't use it (because it was reported another last exception due to this). Also while I was on it I changed the tuning of the interaction, because I wasn't satisfied with the annoying brewing sound and hot steam (I mean this is just detoxing water, we don't need to cook it, right) and now there is no annoying brewing sound anymore, instead I changed to more appropriate one, filling water (the interaction from the sink). Note that because the animation is the one from the sink, the sim's hand gets inside the counter, I can't fix it since it's the canon animation.
[14/03/2022] Fixed issue with missing cups
Intro:
Those of you who know me from TSR are familiar that I mostly do custom content, but after I put my hands on the Watermill I was mesmerized by the opportunity to create something functional that give out something. It's pure magic!
This mod I started in January and I've been working on it literally unitl last night. All modders out there have my adoration and respect, it is really hard to do modding, but you are creating magic, people!
Description:
Detox Water Dispenser is small appliance that can be used to make different flavoured-types of water for detoxing and keeping healthy lifestyle. It can be found in buy mode under "Appliances -> Small appliances", it can be placed on every surface, but I would advice you to use counters or dining tables to make sure it functions properly. it's costs 350$.
It's draggable and you can keep it in your Sim's inventory when you travel. When you press on the Dispenser you'll see an option to make Detox Water, this will open a selection menu and you can choose from 10 different types of flavours.
The flat price for each drink is 8$, but if you have the needed ingredients it's free.
The ingredients are optional. Some of them are custom, so if you have icemunmun, BrazenLotus or Leniad's ingrediants, they will show up.

Those of you who are aspiring modders and want to create functional objects like this one, I've been using the following tutorials, plus a lot for personal discovery with trial and error, I'm by no mean a specialist but if you need help for similar concept feel free to write me, I'll be happy to help with whatever I can.
Leniad's Craftable Toy Tutorial
Leniad's Menu Expander Craftable Tutorial
Leniad's Custom Food Creation Tutorial
- it can be a little confusing if you never did modding before (I was a little overwhelmed), but these are the only tutorials I managed to find when I was looking to help myself. These tutorials work with Leniard's Craftables Enabler and if you don't aim for something big as a begining these are ideal. My problem was that I wanted a custom object and from there I had to figure how to create this thing to work. So the other credit goes to PiedPiper, who helped me out by advising me to study the Coffee Maker's XML.
Struggling so much to find tutorials related to this type of modding, I'm thinking will you be interested of a tutorial of my process how I created the mod, if I have enough requests I might write one.
I really hope you'll enjoy my object, I did enjoy creating it and I hope it will expand your game possibility.
Kind Regards,
