Hello everyone, this is Mataaoune.

I sincerely apologize for the delay in this update and for not being able to keep my promise of uploading at least two works per month. This was entirely due to my own limitations.

Recently, I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about the direction of my work and experimenting with different approaches, which ended up taking much longer than I expected for a single piece. Even so, I fully understand that failing to meet the promised upload schedule is putting the cart before the horse, and I will do my best to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

For this piece, I originally prepared some short dialogue, but after reviewing it, I felt that the content could be conveyed clearly in a more intuitive way. As a result, I decided to remove the dialogue and leave only the minimum elements necessary to aid understanding.

I don’t intend to continue producing works in this format exclusively. I would just appreciate it if you could understand that, each time, I’m trying to explore what I believe is the best possible way to express the idea.

This work is a comic and illustration based on a “Year-End / New Year Party” concept.

In this story’s world, the characters are portrayed differently from how we usually know them. They live in a peaceful world, each carrying a small secret of their own. This piece is my personal interpretation of the “small possibility” mentioned in the Version 3.8 story, given form in my own way.

Hotaru and Silver Wolf, as well as Robin and the Trailblazer (player), attend the same vocational school.
Hotaru is an aspiring actor who shares a small secret, Silver Wolf is a game friend who loves music, and Robin is a famous musician who only returns to school occasionally.

Kafka is depicted as a sponsor-like figure who looks after the protagonist and offers various forms of support.

I put a great deal of care into the details to fit as much of each character’s personality as possible into a single image.
I would be very happy if even a small part of that intent comes through to you.

こんにちは、皆さん。またあおうねです。

今回の更新が遅れてしまい、月に2作品以上アップロードするという約束を守れなかったことをお詫びいたします。

完全に私自身の力不足によるものです。

最近は作品の方向性について色々と考え、試行錯誤を重ねる中で、作品に思った以上に時間をかけてしまいました。

それでも、約束していた更新回数を満たせていない現状は本末転倒だと理解しています。今後はこのようなことが起こらないよう、最善を尽くします。

今回の作品については、当初は短いセリフを用意していましたが、内容自体が十分に直感的に伝わると判断し、理解の助けになる最低限の要素だけを残してセリフを削除しました。

今後ずっとこのような形式の作品だけを制作するつもりはありません。

その時々で、自分なりに最善だと思う表現方法を模索しているということだけ、知っていただければ幸いです。

今回の作品は、「　忘年会（新年会）」をコンセプトにした漫画・イラストになります。

この作品内の世界観における彼女たちは、私たちの知っている姿とは異なり、平和な世界で小さな秘密を抱えながら生きている存在として描いています。

これは、【Ver.3.8のストーリーで言及されていた「小さな可能性」】を、自分なりに形にしてみたものです。

ホタルと銀狼、ロビンと開拓者（プレイヤー）は、同じ専門学校に通っています。

ホタルは小さな秘密を共有する役者志望の学生、銀狼は音楽好きなゲーム仲間、

そしてロビンは、たまにしか学校に戻ってこない有名ミュージシャン、という設定です。

また、カフカは主人公の都合をいろいろと見てくれる、支援者のような立ち位置として描きました。

小さな一枚の中に、できるだけ各キャラクターの個性を詰め込めるよう、細部まで気を配って制作しています。

少しでも皆さんにその想いが伝われば嬉しいです。
