Swimsuit Haul (for Colossalcon and YetiCon!)

Tomorrow I'm leaving for Colossalcon in Ohio! Con season flies by so fast. I just left Anime North this past weekend and then two weeks after Colossalcon I'll be heading to YetiCon D:

If you aren't familiar with these cons, Colossalcon is a huge indoor and outdoor waterpark con, and YetiCon has a lot of parties for cosplayers including a rave, BBQ party, and pool parties. I love these cons because they give cosplayers a break and a chance so do a simple cosplay without having to worry about props or heavy outfits (unless you want to!)

Last year, I brought Swimsuit Bakugou and his grenades and leg straps and mask made shooting in the waterpark extremely difficult. Everything was obviously getting wet and coming apart in the humidity of the pools. So this year, I just ordered a bunch of swimsuits and hoping they suit the characters :'D I also ordered a few cute ones to wear for the after-hours waterpark at night! They're not the highest quality photos (stupid cellphone), but let me know which one is your favorite!

#1. Black criss cross bikini (for Ochaco?)

I got this just because I liked the corset-y criss cross pattern, but I'm thinking I might use it for an Ochaco swimsuit cosplay. I might add tie a pink ribbon to the middle of the top, and to the sides of the bottoms to match her hero suit's black and pink theme. And theeeeen just add a wig lol. It's just a lazy swimsuit idea I have because wearing a full cosplay to a waterpark makes the experience less fun for me. From what I see online, most people just wear a random black or pink swimsuit for her.

#2. Red wrap-around swimsuit (cause I think it looks hot LOL)

I can't think of a cosplay I could use this for (any ideas)?), but I love it so much *__* I think it's super sexy and I'll probably wear it to the after-hours waterpark at night, where a lot of  people just wear regular swimsuits and hang out.

#3. Orange string bikini for Rise

I've been wanted to make or buy a Rise cosplay years ago since playing through Persona 4 on my PS2. I kept pushing it aside and just forgot lol. So the next best thing is to do her swimsuit version! I already have her wig, which I actually bought from Colossalcon last year for only $5 at the con's flea market! Her swimsuit is just an orange string bikini with yellow flowers on it. I'm going to have to buy yellow iron-on vinyl and hope it doesn't fall off or peel off in the pool. Why is vinyl so expensive though!? You can buy a roll of one color for like $20-40 and there's no way I'm going to spend that much to cut out some small designs out of a scrap lol.  I'm going to wait until my friend Bec checks if she has any scraps I could use.

#4. Purple bikini for Mt. Lady

For some reason I always end up doing mostly My Hero Academia swimsuit cosplays for Colossalcon accidentally lol (Bakugou, Ochaco, Mt. Lady). It was originally just me and Bec (with her as Midnight), but now we have a large MHA cosplay group planning to meet up on Friday! I'm so excited :D Along with that, I'll be shooting boudoir Mt. Lady with Bec as Midnight again, and cheerleader Ochaco as well to wear around the actual convention building. I just have to finish the horns and mask now (they're about 70% done at the moment) ;__;

#5. White bikini for Lucy

I'm part of a big Fairy Tail group on the Friday of YetiCon, with myself as Lucy :D For one of the pool parties, I thought I might as well do her actual swimsuit since I already have her wig. It's similar to Rise's design, with flowers on a solid colored bikini. Now I just need to magically find cheap pink iron-on vinyl and we'll be good to go!
