3D Head base with acrylic eyes 👀
Added 2022-03-22 16:13:21 +0000 UTCWorking on a head base I can add the acrylic eye kits easily (i want to have them laser cut along with the lids to save me on time when doing finish work). Creating a backer for the back of the eye so it’s easy to just pop the eye in and glue it before I fur. This way I can fully integrate the eye easier, won’t fall out and both eyes will be angled the exact same way. (Angie is important, don’t want these bowed out to the sides too much to avoid the cross eyed look or looking like a fish) Going to do 2 versions of these. First version will not have the magnet cut outs. Need to see how strong the magnets are to create the 2nd version of this same base. Either way I will be doing some testing and printing this base tonight so I should have something to show by the end of the week. Finishing the sculpt at the moment. Going to have 2 versions for the nose to start with. Nostril nose and non nostril nose. Working on a few new settings that will make my prints lighter but overall stronger. More to report soon. Doing most of this in nomad sculpt and final clean up in Zbrush.
