Rig + Weight Painting for VRC

I have zero issues with modeling and texturing but when it comes to rigging and weight painting it can be a bit of a pain. Not hard just tedious to do specially when  you don't know the program very well (I mostly use zbrush so blender has been a learning experience). Starting the year off in a way where I am going to learn to do every aspect of making a VR character.

Pablo wolf was done with the help of my friend Scout. She rigged/weight painted and made it work in unity which is now something I am wanting to learn to do on my own. I know a lot of people would like to learn how to do this so definitely will be doing streams going over all the aspects on how to make these characters (let me learn for you so I can teach you). If you are patient and willing to learn these are really fun projects to tackle. I am currently getting more models completed and will probably rig a few myself and get others done just to have more done together. Sometimes finding a good rigging person that knows how to set stuff up for VRC can actually be a little complicated which is why I want to learn this.

Will go over how to do rigs from scratch, how to use Mixamo and how to use automatic rigging add ons. Currently making my rigs from scratch to see what works best and weight painting based on the bones.

The current model I was using to learn from was being used as a test. Need to finish modeling the raccoon so I can start going over everything and finishing this boy up.

Going to be doing the rig/weight painting and using the CATS plug in to make it usable in VRC. So learn with me if you are interested in this process :).
