One will pass and one will go to the losers competition. (Yes the will have one last chance to stay on the tournament)
A good reason for not making them face each other in groups like some championships is that it would just take super long. We might have some of that in future tournament though, but it would be more matches per day.

This will depend on how many got 50-50, but I'll basically draw different pairs for them. If it was just one battle then I would have to decide between randomizing the winner or make a second match with multiple votes enable, so the undecided can vote on both.
