Stay wary of the maiden fair,
Whose eyes lure men in, unaware
Of that sweet temptress lurking low
Beneath the sea caps, wracked with foam
Of gushing oceans, gasping breaths
Across the waves’ engulfing breadth
The flowing hair of golden flax
The cunning stare that hides the acts
Seductive gestures, devilish thought
Swam in her brain before she wrought
Revenge on he who stared her down
Lower still, will she help you drown
In her belly, this piscine beast
Your shared embrace but you, her feast
‘Tis you she’ll taste and smack her lips
Under the salty drink she slips
Sated by morsels of strong men
Until she hungers once again
