In my life as a miniature painter I have seen quite some badly prepared models.
You might I think .. aaah its just a small mouldline.. nobody will notice! ...or... naaa the drill is to far away.. i wont need to open the top of my bolter .. but in the end those little details prevent to the spectator to believe the character you want to display or the atmosphere you want to create! The question of "how its made" gets more interesting and it blocks the person who looks at the model from fully emerging in the scene.
So this is why I made this video!
..also I got quite some messages of how I do my zenithal priming ;)

Great little tutorial. I agonize over the grain of the white, when I zenithal prime because it shows up through the glazes. I'll watch the later videos to see how you make it work.

2019-05-05 13:06:02 +0000 UTCQuestion in lots of your tutorials on faces you show the three zones of the face the yellow, red and blue zone. But what of the fully body, if you where to paint a Dwarf Fire Slayer or some other model with very little to no clothes on. Where are the different "zones" placed on the body?
