Changing direction with the patreon and hippocrit
Added 2018-10-10 19:33:20 +0000 UTCHello Patrons, thank you so much for supporting me thus far. I expect most of you will be leaving and i just want to say please don't feel bad about it. This is a problem I've made for myself and i am not blaming anyone else.
The video goes into more depth but basically i will no longer be making review videos like i have been. I don't enjoy doing it and the pressure to make people happy with them has caused me more than one mental breakdown in the past and it's been difficult to just stop due to monetary obligations like patreon.
It feels bad having people pay money to me when i just don't do anything so this is a HARD LINE CUT. There is no "maybe ill come back" there is no "hiatus" bullshit. I'm stopping, i don't want there to be any mistakes or misunderstandings. I'm done, it's over.
If you want to stay pledged because you like my other stuff like streams, comics and the patreon podcasts then that's fine i just want everyone to be well informed about what's happening.
I might be making a bigger deal out of this transition then i need to but just humour me for a moment. Doing this is gonna really help my mental health i already feel more free just typing this.
Not sure if there's anything else to mention. The patreon will stay up, it's purpose will be for other content and hippocrit reviews will stop forever.
I'm keeping the name because i plan to put different stuff on the hippocrit channel and also it's convenient to not change up the name because of the URL.

I'm glad you were able to come to terms with the fact that YouTube (or at least the type of YouTube your once main content tends to fall into) just isn't for you anymore and are gonna be moving onto things that are for you and make you enjoy your work and life more. I'm gonna stay pledged for now since it's only $1 and I wasn't really missing the hippocrit videos anyway (it's more the goofy random, gibbontake I tend to go for) so good luck.

If you were to throw up random videos of you talking about random stuff then that would be awesome. The patreon is only because I like your podcasts and am happy to support you in wherever you do. Good look in whatever your endeavours, I'll keep supporting here.
