1,2,1,2, It's just a Test

I'm about to hit my first thousand followers on Deviant Art and was thinking about doing something a little special to celebrate there. This was a test to see how animation I render through Krita works online. I also have an ulterior motive for you all as - I think I'll leave it as a surprise for now but it's something not a lot of people do with their work.

By the way, this is just SIX FRAMES! Crazy how much flow you can get with six frames!

Back into the Swing of Things

So, ... where to start. The work field has been a nightmare for the last while. I have been surviving by doing educational illustrations for a company. They don't pay well but there's lots of work, so if I work about 12 hours a day, six days a week, which is what I've been doing, I can pay rent and bills. Yay. Needless to say, that leaves little time and energy for fun stuff for you all. BUT, I'm trying to make good. Here are the first four rough pages for the first official Yef comic story! ...

Apologies

Hey all, so, so sorry. This year has been crazy. Last October, I had to pack an entire house and get it all moved cross country and then immediately scramble for freelance once I got to the new place. I've quite literally been limping my way back into any productivity outside of the necessities. Either way, I do plan to start submitting on a regular basis again. Here's my first entry in a while. Teaser Title Card and Huge Apology

First the apology. Without getting too into too many details, I suffered from a bout of disassociation for a few months. I worked on freelance and paid bills but everything I loved dropped off the map. I found no joy in anything. I drank a lot and generally kept really bad care of myself.
