Comments
You are right! I meant to come back to this comment but I just spotted the mistake myself when doing the latest appendix. By the way, I use 4.33 as a rule of thumb for months divided into weeks. Is 4.35 better? I think I'm too old to learn a new way but I would be willing to try!
Ted Steel
2025-09-24 19:58:46 +0000 UTCThe math regarding Max's income is incorrect, based on the info that he earns 3600 a month on the Best Chestern. He would earn app. 3600/4,35(average amount of weeks in a month) =827.58 a week. Making his weekly income =13967. Yearly 13967x52,177457=728.793. If my calculations and understanding is correct

2025-09-08 16:02:58 +0000 UTCAh! I wondered why there was only one guy in that list but was too tired to check it. If you put two asterisks in a sentence, Patreon thinks you want to convert the text in between into italics. So when I undid that, the asterisks were deleted and I didn't notice. Thanks to you, they're back!

2025-08-07 02:28:03 +0000 UTCMax really should be fleecing a richer team for one of these high CA, low PA youth players.
SlickMongoose
2025-08-01 19:21:32 +0000 UTCI think there are plenty of examples of old players suddenly losing it.
Galeg
2025-08-01 15:21:52 +0000 UTCAs I understand it, a major reason for consolidation is to be more prepared for the PL. Rushing up there would make survival in year one that much harder.
MARLL
2025-08-01 14:49:12 +0000 UTCSoz for spamming, but the last consideration is that Max should be able to get more out of old players than anyone else, seeing he can manage their load/condition, injuries, etc. and also give them a route to start coaching, scouting, etc
Fraser
2025-08-01 14:07:12 +0000 UTCLooking at CA as it approaches PA A consideration is: Does next season really have to be a consolidation season? Anything can happen if Chester make playoffs. Ian swan - Maybe sell at end of next season? Would be championship standard by playoffs Rainman - Sell at end of next season, would seem in many ways more promising than Ian Swan was when he want to Chester (can’t remember how much he cost?) Christian Fierce - Christmas Window next year? Could be a decent championship player, though might be hard to find someone better if competing in playoffs Fitzroy Hall - I can’t place him tbh, Shoulld be sold soon, probably before Christian F. Can’t imagine him sticking the whole year, regardless of playoff intentions Omari - likely within 12 months Tom Westwood - likely within twelve months… cya juniors :( Potential best 11 for playoffs, which would be as good as any in championship: GK Ian Swan - 127 LB Cole Adams ~ 135 CB Zach ~ 135 CB Peter B ~ 130 RB Nasa ~120 (could be more with Secret Sandra) DM Youngster ~ 140 (national team?) LM Joel R ~135 CM Dan B ~ 125? (could be more with Secret Sandra) RM Bark ~130 S Dazza ~140 (Aus selection?) S Wibbers ~ 140 (u21 selection?) Bench Colin B ~ 125 Gabriel ~ 135 Max B Fierce 120 Sticky 122 CM Andrew - 121 Adam Summerhays ~120 Thomazella ~ 115 Magnus Evergreen ? Alfie Clitheroe 115 (National team selection?)

2025-08-01 13:28:11 +0000 UTCWibbers is a beast!
Geoff Urland
2025-08-01 13:16:05 +0000 UTCAlso interesting how hard Ryan Jack has hit the cliff. I think losing CA that consistently isn’t necessarily realistic. I think the way it would be is he gets an injury which stops him from training, reducing fitness and pace, resulting in much lowered CA which very slowly recovers. If he doesn’t get injured he might steadily progress to former levels, but at some point managing load becomes too difficult and it only causes one soft tissue tear to derail a season. So decreasing by 25 over a season isn’t unusual at all, but decreasing by a point each week in the absence of injury would be incredibly odd.
Fraser
2025-08-01 12:52:02 +0000 UTCHigh Teamwork, quickly improving Passing, high Determination, high Creativity, high Technique, high Off the Ball, and high Decisions. Combined with his naturally good athleticism, IRL, he would be a player that would play well with better players at a higher standard. Some player skillsets are good at dominating weak opposition, while others like this are good at contributing against good opposition.
