Whelp; I eventually had to pick a fate for Ginny, and now it's done! 11.5k words, too. I think, given how things have been going, that the next one will be SSCHS again. Not only is this one a bit of a cliffhanger, but I'm really feeling the need to go back over Sharing the Nation, fix a few things and re-re-re-plan what I'm doing with it. SSCHS, on the other hand, is coming out much more smoothly. To be fair, though, beginnings are always easier than endings.

On the more Patreon-specific side of things, because Apple is being Apple, Patreon is being forced to discontinue the per-creation payment model, so I guess expect things to go to monthly sometime in the next year and we'll see how it goes. On one hand, the hard deadlines enforced by the per-creation system are very effective at getting me writing... but on the other, I do think that the artificial and arbitrary 10k requirement I set myself has caused pacing issues in the past. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a good thing.
