I think that the mayor was the target, because she didnt agree to make Billings the sheriff, and both bottles were poisoned just to make sure she drinks it. And after Marnes basically switched his stance on Juliette, he was targeted too. I think he is a good guy, just hurt by Ruths death, and really started to trust Jules but didnt wanted the judicial guy (Robert) to know that. I adored how she stood her ground against Sandy and her bullshit. And that stare, basically telling her non verbally that she aint Holsten and to get the fuck out :D I loved that scene.

2025-07-08 15:06:50 +0000 UTCI think Juliette’s counting in thousands is just a measuring device, like saying one Mississippi, two Mississippi, etc. I could be wrong (I probably am) but that’s how I saw it. I think this episode was great, I liked getting to see more of Juliette and how she got to mechanical. Another excellent episode Claudie, I’m reaally loving this series.
