Severance | S2 Ep 8

So this took a turn.

I'd say this has one of the biggest, if not the biggest, plot twist of S2.

I really didn't see that coming.

Enjoy!

Yeah Harmony is one of my favourites too, amazing twist!

I've tried to resist the temptation, but I can't lie to myself anymore, especially after this episode. Harmony has become my favorite character; she's such an interesting and complex character... I liked her even though she drove me crazy at the beginning of the series. 👀 This is definitely my second favorite episode of the two seasons. The previous one is my favorite because, like this one, it was heartbreaking, but it also had such beautiful moments between Gemma and Mark (what can I say, I'm a romantic lol). In the end, I was more moved by episode 7, but like I said, I loved this one too. :3

She's more powerful in terms of individual brain power, that's for sure!

Harmony is such a great, multi-layered character. She is also a genius who was never duly valued and simply exploited and tossed aside. Her life has been as impacted as Mark's. Lumon should certainly fear her if she has truly switched sides.

Loved the scenic shots. I am still trying to digest that Corbel is the inventor…I agree, this episode was needed to provide background and context to her current intentions, to team up with Mark and bring Lumon down. OMG these final episodes are so emotionally heavy and full of twists! But I can’t stop watching! I will try to patiently wait for the next episode…

I love the music made for this episode so much. Especially in the beginning. It really creates this eerie and sad tone which is very fitting! This episode is great. Only two more to go... I am sad and at the same time very excited!

Thank you for actually appreciating this HUGE plot twist!!! I've watched so many reactions to this episode and for some reason many people kind of shrug at that new piece of info. Like, what? lol The fact that Harmony was the creator of the severance chip informs so much of her character as well as her relationship with Helena as you mentioned. Sad side note here, I really personally connected with Harmonys character here. It was insisted that I stay in college ( a religious one ) while my mom was sick from cancer. She past away a few months after I graduated after being in a medically induced coma. But to be honest I would've given it all up to have been there with her during that hard period of her life. I remember laying in her bed, crying, trying to console myself after her passing. So yeah, the scene of Harmony in her mothers bed was uncomfortable but sadly relatable.

His name is Hampton. On a podcast I listen to they call him "huffy Hampton" lol . I think after you've watched all of Season 2 you'd enjoy listening to this podcast. Its called Severance Peaks and even Ben Stiller was on an episode in between one of the weekly airings of the show. Its a pretty lighthearted silly podcast that also does great deep dives on the plot and theories.

Think about the symbolize of the "papers" and what they represent being stuffed inside Kiers "head".... :-/

This is only my second time rewatching this one and I gotta say I enjoyed it more this time around. Definitely a different, slower pace but I think we really needed it (along with Gemma’s episode) to give clarity on Harmony’s motivations and her background.

Patricia Arquette = electric intensity.

I like this one, too. I think this had to be it's own episode. Going back and forth between this and any other aspect of the show would have been disconcerting, and not in a good way.

The man's name is Hampton. Cobel says it just before she drives off.

i hope you react to the inside the episodes after the seasons
