Custom Beat Sync
Added 2024-04-30 00:13:48 +0000 UTCI spoke about the concept of the ability to use your own songs in a never ending loop that will sync up to your song, well I've been working on setting that up and I have good news!

If the video example doesn't make it clear what's happening here's a run down of the current process:
(This wasn't in the video) Add your song to the scene via the audio files.
Select your song in the audio files list in the scene, in the final product I will simplify this process as much as possible.
Find the BPM of the song, and set the in-scene BPM to match using the BPM UI. You may need to either add to or subtract 1 from the BPM for it to sync up better.
Press Play, sit back and enjoy.
Using this, there is a 99% accuracy on the in-scene BPM and the songs actual BPM.
There are other discrepancies that are kind of out of my control, such as if your song of choice doesn't start straight at 0:00 seconds or if the timing isn't 1:1 throughout the song, etc.

I'm going to be working more positions into it, I'm still currently testing the waters with basically everything in The Collection - there is a hell of a lot to do. Now I got the whole BPM selector side of things working, I've moved onto other parts of The Collection but I will definitely be adding more to the custom song feature.
