Added 2024-04-27 03:50:49 +0000 UTCWith the results from the last poll, I figured that it's honestly a pretty fair split between people who prefer hand animated music scenes and people who like the endless loops idea.
So with that knowledge, I've come to my conclusion. The scene will be a hand animated scene, so no endless loops I'm afraid (other than the option to start the scene again once it's finished) - but I have good news for those who were interested in the endless loops concept.
I've figured out a way, if I'm correct with my testing and hypothesising, to allow for the user to add a song of their own choice and have the endless loops sync up with them. All you'd need is the BPM of your song, and with that information I should be able to set things up so that the animations automatically sync up to your music.
No major promises just yet, I don't want to give false hope, but I'm pretty sure I can get this to work and will be adding it as a feature to the "The Collection" scene. Which I think I'm going to start working on after the music scene is complete.
So in conclusion, the music scene is hand animated - but The Collection will have endless loops to music of your own choosing. Alongside all the other features it will have.
