2019-08-09 19:48:23 +0000 UTCWhat I always notice from this is, interestingly, how much Sam rebels against the "normal" whereas Dean tries to walk "straight narrow" ( tho normal in their world was hunting etc ) --Sam rejects it while Dean never questions the "rules" their family has set. In this world where their "normal" aligns with the rest of society, Sam's constantly doodling monsters and yearning to break free from the constraints of the dull 9-to-5/dreaming of a higher calling. Dean resists being different/stepping outside the lines until he's outright forced. Of course, in the end, we all knew he'd follow anywhere Sammy went at the end of the day pft.
