The Daily Tism is hiring a freelance part-time social media assistant
Added 2025-07-01 11:11:22 +0000 UTCThe Daily Tism is looking for its latest team member! We are looking for a part-time social media assistant to join our fast-growing, back-chatting autism satire website to support our creative team.
As our social media and admin assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Creating new Instagram and TikTok social media assets on Canva, using our existing template and images supplied by the creative team
- Daily posting and scheduling of all new content, including previews of Patreon content, to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky and Threads in line with our editorial calendar, as well as posting an additional historical piece from the site per day to all platforms
Job requirements:
- High level of competence and confidence using the listed social media platforms
- Experience using Canva is desirable but not necessary
- Ability to use and manage social media scheduling software
- Reliable, dedicated and self-motivated
- High attention to detail and great organisational skills
- Fast learner
- Lived experience with autism is desired
- Able to start as soon as possible
The role is from home and can be performed from anywhere, but candidates will need to be able to work to UK timings. It will require one working day per week to account for image creation and weekly scheduling at £100 per day. The role would be perfect for someone looking to supplement existing freelance work.
Please note this is not a creative role and we aren’t considering writing portfolios at this time, but we will update our socials when we open our next public submissions round.
Email a CV and a short covering paragraph to apply at thedailytism dot com - applications will be accepted until Friday, 11th July 2025 at midnight BST.
Due to anticipated volume of applicants, we will only be able to get back to shortlisted candidates.
Comments
Do you want them to... make it a full-time job? I don't understand the criticism, here.
