The tower of soft toys on an autistic woman’s bed are actually protecting a grotty little nest of unspeakable acts, it has been rumoured.
Emma Bernard, 32, has amassed the collection of stuffed animals over a lifetime, but as Plushie-in-Chief, a rabbit named Hoppy, 31, explained, their presence in her life is anything but wholesome.
“Emma is down to bone,” explained Hoppy. “The things that go on in that bed make ME blush. Me - a RABBIT.”
“It’s our solemn duty to protect Emma’s bed and the secrets that lie within it,” continued Hoppy. “And we take that very seriously, no matter who is bent over what.”
Blushing furiously, Bernard said: “HOPPY!!! Sorry, he doesn’t know what he’s saying - silly little bunny.”
Hoppy responded: “I’d better do what she says - you should see what she does to her other rabbits.”
