But I just wanted to say thank you.
The electricity/gas prices in the UK are due to go up again from October. Then again next year. It is entirely possible I might be paying around £500/month for gas and electric around Feb/March next year.
That's not a joke. Those are seriously the projections right now.
Would I be able to afford it without patreon and youtube? Yes, with £40 of our money left over, so no cash for replacing clothes or anything like that, and we'd have to give up our cats.
I'm not kidding. We really would. Which includes the ones we're fostering to help out the cat rescue (that we don't take money for to reduce their costs).
I really feel like thank you isn't enough and I need to do something more special, but right now, my brain is a mess and that's all I've got. You're helping me do something I love, helping me to look after my wife, and helping both of us to look after cats in need.
So... just... thank you. <3

(And you and your wife too, of course 😘) You don’t need to feel bad for even a second about not doing “something more.” You’ve put so much work into this game and kept it fun and interesting for so many of us. I can’t even imagine how many hours of entertainment my husband and I have gotten out of it. It’s not something you had to do and we’re all very grateful for the time and effort you’ve put in for us all. Helping with the costs is the least we can do! But it might cost you a kitty channel in DF discord some day so we can see more of your babies… 😘

We had a carrier with mum and 3 or 4 kittens in it because they were flea infested, had worms and full of cat flu. Just abandoned. 2 of the kittens have now lost an eye each because of it. But hopefully they'll get homes.
