The Wedding of Jaehaerys I and Alysanne—Lines
Added 2025-05-24 03:28:52 +0000 UTCI’m really loving the composition of this drawing so much and half way through getting these lines done, I wondered if I might be crowding the foreground too much? I am torn because I think the Kingsguard standing in the foreground makes sense but the drawing almost looks more harmonious without that foreground at all 🤔
I’m going to leave this up to my patrons: do you think I should forego the Kingsguard silhouettes in the foreground, or do I keep them there and draw all their details in? Do you think their silhouettes balance the illustration more? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Love the first one. More detailed and focused on the pairs. However I would love to see the Kingsguard too like lined up in a stair way where the dragons are. Like for example in the Excalibur movie when Arthur and Morgaine got married.

2025-05-24 03:31:33 +0000 UTCI think the crowd takes away the focus from Jae and Alysanne. Like you could have some Kingsguard standing to the side next to the dragons but the main focus of the art should be Jae and Alysanne.
