DevLog #45: January Status Update

So here's this month's DevLog - a bit early this time as my landlord want to sell her apartment so I will need to move to an other one in a few days, and will probably be cut from work / internet for sometime.
Anyway, I've received this month the first draft of the main cover for Episode 2.
This one is from the portrait artist romiy and I think it's looking great so far!
You can compare it to the version I did myself in DevLog #43 :D
On my side, I've been working on the first 2 towns in Episode 2, implementing many NPCs and events.
Here's a couple screenshots from the second town - though please note that the dialogues haven't been corrected yet, also I've censured one NPC as I don't want to reveal it!
I've also worked on the main mechanic of the first dungeon: Lighting beacons to restore your warmth and go deeper into the Ice Maze!
I've been experimenting a bit with 3DCG software recently, and tried to create semi-realistic renders of the mysterious girl and Kuroko from Light Fairytale.
So what do you think? Are these the first shots from the 2030 remake? :D
Which brings me to this month's bonus: a 1440p wallpaper using the above renders.
