Update Post! Jan 5th (Patreon stream later today!)

Hey Patrons, Happy New Year 🥳! I hope your 2025 has been going great for you all so far.

2025 is going to be a year of restructuring here on the GaMetal Patreon. For those unaware: Patreon will be axing the pay-per-creation model near the end of the year (November) which is going to deal quite the blow to Patreon pages using this method (like ours here). As such, I'm going to have to focus on changing things around a bit, and putting in a lot more effort than usual into recruiting new Patrons all throughout the year.

I will be asking for your input on things over the course of this time, such as what types of Patreon-exclusive content or rewards you might be interested in seeing. Keep an eye out for a community chat or post on this subject very soon (I will be making it early next week).

Since it's going to be tough recouping the entire loss going from per-creation to once-a-month, I'm going to also put a lot of effort into strengthening GaMetal across platforms in general (such as YouTube, Spotify, etc), so you can expect an extremely productive year for GaMetal in 2025.

I have a few things planned in those regards already, but for now, let's turn our focus to the to-do list:

• Jan: Baking the Wondertart (Cuphead DLC)

• Jan/Feb: The Oracle (Secret of Mana)

• Jan/Feb: 敵對 -tekitAI- (AI: The Somnium Files)

• TBA: Memories of You (Persona 3)

• TBA His World (Sonic '06)

• TBA Arrow of Time (Cassette Beasts)

• TBA: Project Peppermint, GBA Medley 2, Wii Medley

Next up will be the 2025 premiere, What I'm Made Of from Sonic Heroes. Also coming this month will be Baking the Wondertart from Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, it will likely follow What I'm Made Of and be #2 this month unless otherwise noted (but will for sure come during the month of January). The Oracle and -tekitAI- should be ready and up either this month or next, at the latest.

We then have that little set of potential collab songs that I've been working on for an eternity, and am determined to get off the list ASAP. I'll let you know as soon as the first one is ready.

I'll also be starting work on the console medleys this month, looking to get both out during the first quarter of this year, the first of which will be GBA Medley 2, which I will be aiming to get sometime in early February.

And lastly, I'll be working on wrapping up Project Peppermint on the side at any opportunity I get, and like the rest will keep you updated on progress to when that should be ready to be revealed.

Patreon Stream today! It will begin at our usual time of around 4:00 PM US Eastern (approx. 2 hours from now). The request list should be up to date as of this post, as always feel free to holler at me in Discord or here via message/comment if you notice you're either missing or list is incorrect in some fashion. A stream recap (along with my handpicked choice for the month) will be posted shortly after the stream ends.

On a similar note, I'll be making a new version of the request list post tomorrow. The "17th Edition" was made back in 2022, so we're quite a bit overdue for a new one. From this point forward, I'll be making a new one at the start of each year, and naming the edition after said year (ie. "2025 Edition"). The request list spreadsheet will remain the same, this is mainly just to refresh the comment section and make any rule change/updates. For today's stream, if you'd like to make a last minute update, you can still do so on the current post.
